Insanity

I've found so much normality
In my lifetime of insanity
Always not being enough
I'd turned into someone damaged and tough
Not willing to shed a tear
I'd lost hope you'd appear
But you came along
Stopped to write me a song
Something to hold in the bad
It'll be here when I'm sad
Because I've built a lot of walls
Along with some dark shadowed halls
That block out some of the light
Sometimes hard to tell day from night
But despite the lifetime of insanity
And all it's normality
You came along
And make  it so easy for me to belong

  1. Although this makes me feel sad inside, it is so beautiful. Wonderful poem :)
